Speaker. Missionary. Author.
Hi! I'm Kathy.
And, I'm grateful you are here.
I love the apostle Paul's description of himself in the first half of 1 Corinthians 15:10…

“But by the grace of God I am what I am,
and His grace to me
was not without effect.”

My accomplishments in this life are not on par with the apostle Paul, but my experience with the grace of God is, and God’s grace to me has not been without effect.
By His grace, and His grace alone I stand here today loved by the God of the universe.
And I'm grateful!
He's the same God who loves you just as much!

This blog and website are for those who are hungry for more.
More of Jesus.
More of God's love.
More of a desire to go all in with Jesus.
People like you!

A Bit about Me...
I love Jesus!

First, I'm a lover and pursuer of Jesus.
I've loved Jesus since I was a small girl.
At the age of seven, I went to church camp for the first time.
In a"tabernacle" lacking air conditioning, I learned to seek the Lord as we would pray deep into the night.
Someone paid my way to camp that first year.
I am grateful to that unknown person who sowed into the life of this girl.
I'm thankful to Jesus for speaking to that person's heart.
He paid the way and paved the way for me to experience the presence of God and learn to hear and discern His voice.

I Love my Family!
I've been married to my husband, Kelly, for 31 years and life together has been filled with adventure.
We have two amazing daughters - Katie & Karen - all grown up! How did that happen?
My mother is 89 and still living. Thankful!
I am blessed with two supportive and loving sisters who are each married to a committed man of God.
And, an assortment of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws who have added to my life.

All the Rest...
I'm an extroverted people person - which translates into "I talk a lot!"

I'm a...
Teacher.
Friend.
Missionary.
And, most recently, writer... a work in progress

I'm a serious achiever (over-achiever is more accurate), which is part of my story of moving from striving to thriving that you'll hear more about in upcoming blog posts.
There are a few other scattered parts you'll learn about as we journey together.
And I hope to get to know you better, too.
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13 BSB)

Many Blessings,
Kathy
